Visitors can reach the museum easily, with the Number 52 Expressway Bus (Galway–Ballina) stopping directly at the museum entrance.

Our Visitor Centre includes the scenic grounds of Straide Friary, complete with a Sensory Garden, picnic areas, and ample free parking. Together, these make the museum an ideal destination for families, groups, and visitors exploring Mayo’s rich heritage.
